"Glyphosate under fire from San Francisco to Sri Lanka" said the headline from the online science journal Phys.org in its late March overview of the state of glyphosate while it faces serious legal suits globally while it has been classified by the World Health Organization as "probably" being carcinogenic.
In the California and other U.S. states, as well as in El Salvador, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Viet Nam, governments have either banned or severely restricted sales of commercial weed and grass killers containing glyphosate.
